Scientology is not a 'religion,' as it holds no worship services, among a lot of other reasons that do not fit the definition of religion. It certainly is not Christian.

Atheism is its own religion, as are a lot of other things.(Philippians 3:19; Romans 16:18)

If a person puts any opinion before God's opinion as expressed in the Bible, that is that person's 'god.'

Evolutionists put their own beliefs, which also require 'faith' in unproven conclusions, ahead of God's word, thus evolution is its own 'religion' with its adherents 'worshiping' it in place of God.

In the case of atheists, their own opinion that there is no god is more important than anything, hence, their 'god' is themselves.

Whatever one chooses to believe, if it goes against God's stated word, then that is the person's 'god.' In effect, these people worship themselves over God.
